Driven by impeccable business acumen, deep-rooted values and a keen interest in providing career opportunities for women, Rasha Nashaat is a veteran entrepreneur having created several homegrown brands in the United Arab Emirates.
Equipped with a MBA degree from Pepperdine University, Malibu CA, Rasha has earned an admirable reputation for her contribution in industries such as real estate brokerage, digital real estate marketing and the health beverage industry.
With her roots firmly set in real estate, Rasha was one of the original founders of Landmark Properties LLC in 2003, taking on a variety of roles over the years, from Managing Partner to Board Chairwoman before exiting her position in 2012. Following along the same path, Rasha also cofounded Mena Properties Services LLC – a Dubai based, boutique real estate brokerage company dedicated to sourcing investment grade properties and positive returns for its clients before merging with MD Properties to create the first UAE based all women merger in the brokerage industry.
She was also a co-founder and Chairwoman of www.listaproperty.com The Middle East and North Africa’s FIRST on-line real estate portal allowing individual owners and agents’ equal opportunity to market their properties. The company and its stakeholders collectively provided more than 25 years of UAE real estate experience, and offered vast knowledge of real estate consumer trends within the Middle East as well as international experience in online real estate portals.
She is also a co-founder of NAB Middle East LLC – a leader in distributing best-in-class functional drinks within the UAE, all sourced from around the world.
Rasha’s accomplishments include being honored by CEO Middle East as one of the 100 Most Powerful Arab Women in 2012.
Rasha is a Steering Committee member of the United Nations Global Compact (UAE), the world’s largest CSR initiative, as well as a Steering Committee member of the United Nations Women Empowerment Task Force Committee (UAE).
In 2016, Rasha was a guest panel speaker at the UNGC Women Empowerment and Gender Equality forum, to discuss the role of corporations in this initiative per the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, in 2016 Rasha was a speaker at the UN Global South-South Cooperation Summit, in her capacity as an entrepreneur to discuss the role of SMEs in initiating Sustainable Development Goals towards the UN 2030 Agenda.
Since 2011, Rasha has been a member of the Entrepreneur’s Organization UAE.
